Augmented reality and interaction between human beings and robots will form part of tomorrow's factories, as visitors to the trade fair will see on the stands organised by the companies exhibiting at MATELEC INDUSTRY. PSA Group recently organised a workshop on the factory of the future at its headquarters in Vélizy (Paris), whichattracted together 70 associated entities and players in technological innovation, which included suppliers, integrators, start-ups, laboratories, schools, research institutes and public agencies.

These companies and institutions faced 20 challenges proposed by the Group, giving some30 demonstrations on different topics, such as the interaction between human beings and robots, physical assistance using exoskeletons and augmented reality for putting together kits.

As the manager of industrial group PSA, Yann Vincent, explained during the seminar, the world is experiencing a period of radical change which must be faced. He talked about how to transform this situation in levers of growth. “We have many initiatives that come from the newly created companies that are present here today and that transform business models and open the way to new paradigms. We must extract all the substance from these proposals to strengthen our results".
