DELTA ELECTRONICS launches a new UPS series

DELTA ELECTRONICS, which will be present at MATELEC INDUSTRY, has announced the launch of its new series of UPS, RT Amplon 1-3KVA, in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Russia, South America, South Korea and South East Asia. The RT Amplon series consists of on-line UPS systems with pure sine wave, for powering IT critics, including servers and networks.

“In today’s IT environment, electrical protection and resources for reducing energy consumption are a concern from the customer’s point of view. The RT1-3k Delta Series was developed with this concern in mind, to offer customers efficiency with reduced consumption, but without sacrificing reliability," said Dennis Lin, global manager of product development of the Delta MCIS business unit.

The Delta RT1-3kVA Series uses Digital Signal Processor (DSP) technology, that enables reduction in the number of electronic components to lower failure rate, says the company.

It has a wide input voltage range that allows the UPS to operate in harshelectrical environments. The internal Fan failure detection alerts users to failed fans and its hot-swappable function ensures uninterrupted operations during battery maintenance.

In addition, double-conversion technology protects devices from potential power problems and instant transfers to battery mode guarantees continuity of operations during power cuts.

In high efficiency online mode, devices can reach 97% efficiency. Load segments make it possible to disconnect less critical loads during power outages to provide more real power to critical loads.

Through the RS232 or USB ports , the RT1-3kVA allows users to manage the UPS remotely with the Delta UPSentry & ShutdownAgent software platform, designed to manage the UPS online.
